I give up. What does the icon do, if anything (the square of squares). The documentation says it is the desktop icon and the only thing I can figure out is that it is visible on the main desktop screen.
Thoughts?
Cheers.

maby its just a notification that pushing joystick gets u to desktop
Like there is a disc icon in camera mode to let u know
pushing the joystick will save your image
and the desktop icon looks like it looks cause u hav seen some window managers, there is virtual desktop swicher.. that looks the same.. like KDE on nix's
btw desktop is where those big ugly icons reside

yup, vr is right. the 4 mini squares with 1 on them highlighted means when you push down the joystick, it brings you to the menu. nothing else.

So the camera is gay as well..because that wasn't on the T68i..and the ringtone composer etc etc ?? What would be the point of releasing a NEW phone which is no different to the old one ??!!
