can someone tell me exactly what a backup stores? i'm due to get my firmware upgraded but i need to know what to save - ie wave files i have as ringtones in the fones memory, txt messsages etc
i'm assuming the contacts will be saved!

if you do a full backup to include the memory stick, you've backed up everything on C and D. Any customizations like the orange stuff won't be there, but everything else will.
