can i use the old sony memory sticks, the non duo ones in my p800 if i use the adapter that came with the phone?

p.s, please please please can someone answer this for me quick as im in the process of buying a 256mb mem card (old style not duo) for £20 and i need to know!!!!!!! aggghhhhhh.....

No.. The adapter which came with your phone(and also comes with all memory stick duos) converts your msduo to a normal ms. NOT the other way around. Besides. The slot in the p800 is too small to fit regular duos...
BUT. I've seen some places sell this thing which replaces the battery cover and allows using normal memory sticks. Looks dumb though...

Some rumors said about 1GB but I don't beliave that it's true.

there is a lot of talk on this topic. basically you are stuck with 128mb DUO for a litte while if you dont want the expanion pack for the regular size. there are already 1Gb MS on the market for a nice chunk of change. but larger duos will come in time
