> Radar gifs on a wap page, is it possible?

I really need to be able to check weather radar for my area for my job, and since I have a t68i i can't download the java apps for checking radar( maybe 7210 would be better???) Ayways, I need to know if I can link to a specific gif or jpeg on weather.com (their radar image) and have it displayed on the wap page? The image is updated every 15 min and saved under same name so the image would naturally update itself. Please help me out, as I am new to doing wap pages and have no clue how to do it! Thanks...

yeah. I managed just to go to the address of the gif and it downloads, but I was wondering if it was possible to embed it in a wap site so it would not have to be downloaded to view! Thanks so far for the help,

The url is wap-based ofcourse! But the five pictures are very clear. You can change the radar to different places and it is exciting to follow storms with the phone!

To download images, the URL of the image does not need to be wap based, just that the image size needs to be small enough for the limitations of your handset/wap gateway

what i meant was not to download it, but to embed it as a wap page so that i can view it, without downloading and taking up memory, then having to delete it...

AFIK the answer to your question is yes. for wap/wml coding have a look at
www.w3.org if i remember the link that will tell you teh wml standard.
if the t68i will view simple html then this will work

which is what i want displyed and it will not load on my t68i, if this is the case, will it load on a simple html? can the t68i even view simple html?
