I think what gseth meant was the problem about the "Sound Memory's Allocation Problem" which is not shown on the memory status, right?

First of all, its not a "leakege", its saving raw format including the original format of the image so that YOUR phone can operate fast.. Otherwise SE phones would be slow as hell with images..

But why most other brands' phones do not have such problem?

For instance Nokia 6100, 7210, 6610, 7250, 7250i, Siemens S55, SL55, Samsung V200.........

Does the big image "Picture Phonebook" function make Sony Ericsson to make the raw image in low and middle end phones?

even p800 is slower than desired when zooming in and out images so the solution to this problem in t610 isn't to make the 8kb gif take 8kb of memory space and make the t610 resize it to fit the screen, but to mantain the 8kb gif taking 15kb of memory space AND HAVING MORE MEMORY THAN 2MB!

must learn and put at least 4mb in z600.
