> Any tips for fixing 'Battery Rattle'??

My battery rattles and creeks when I use my T68, anyone have any tips on how to fix this?

No seriously, try and fold a little piece of paper and place it behind the battery. That should do the trick... otherwise take it back and complain

This is a problem that has existed with Ericsson phones almost forever, and the cure is always the same: Put a a piece of that type of foamed tape that is used to seal windows against draught between the battery and the phone.

Please elaborate the solution, coz Im also having that batt problem.
Will it really solve the problem coz my previous phone is N-k-a 6210 and same thing with the batt, its loose. I placed a small piece of paper inside fill the gap, it works, however when you remove the paper inside I felt that the gap between the batt and phone is bigger than before.

The solution with the window sealing strip has been recommended even by the ericsson service technicians, but as you say, if you fill in the gap between the battery and the phone with something there is a risk that the gap will become bigger eventually. The advantage with the window seal is that it is soft and does not bring that much extra force to the connection mechanism but only holds the battery still.

ALL phones has this, not just Sony///. Nokia have glued a piece of plastc inside the phone to stop the rattle on the 6310.
Stick a piece of double-sided tape on the inside, this is just the right thickness. BUT FOR GODS SAKE make sure u don't glue the battery to the phone...

the best material to use is the foam material you get when you buy an after market facia, esp Nokia x-press on covers, there is normally a square piece left over as the piece used is the outer "frame" that goes around the inside of the glass, ask your local dealer, cut a small piece about 5mmx10mm and place it towards the top of the battery, it acts as a cushion and doesn't place stress (ie make the gap bigger), with the 6210 2 thin strips near the top (either side of the sticker on the battery).
