Can't see anything on the screen in sunlight?

Its a bit of a problem with the T610 and there are quite a few threads about this already. Not much you can do it about it though.

Well.. no, thats not true. My colleagues sharp gx10 is quite visible in the sun and as I mentioned in
this thread my ipaq is totally visible in sunlight (its transflective TFT).
So you can't really say 'all colour screens have the same problem'.

not a big deal unless... you're trying to take a picture then it's a real pisser.. my 3650 doesn't do that either. that's too bad though it';s a very nice pohone the t610.
maybe they can come up with a new facpleate that would help?

I need to back off on the statement that the T610 display is unusable in strong sunlight. In reality, it is usable (barely), but it depends greatly on what is on the phone's display. My problem was my choice in themes. It seems that all of the themes other than the default "Classic" theme, while looking fantastic, are too low in contrast to be seen in sunlight. What happens is that the display's colors fade horribly in direct sunlight, so when using a darkish theme with low brightness contrast, such as the Underwater theme, all of the pixels look the same - dark. If you use the Classic theme, the display looks gray scale, but it can still be read because of the relative high contrast. This didn't occur to me at first because my first experience involved a game I was playing (minigolf, I think). So changing the theme won't fix all of your problems, but it will make the basic functions almost passable.

i agree its not brilliant but its still usable im just using the classical theme cos i dont really see the point of themes but anyway i can still use mine its not as bright as when its in a darker environment but i can still use it fine
