well i really loved the pics of the t610 on black, and i really wanted one, so i toke the risk and the time to try and be creative and make my own home work and this is what i got, please tell me what you guys think.
and here are the steps and the product i used so you can try and make it your self.
i used rust paint (flat black no glossy).
knife precision cutter.
paint masking tape.
play dough.
take a small amount of play dough and apply it on the inside part of the front face plate to cover the edges of the keypad holes.
and you can use the same method for the middel part of the housing so you can just paint the edges like this.
you will have to cover all the plasti parts of the housing with masking tape and cut it precisely, so only the part you wont to paint is exposed.
and now you put the 3 pieces of the housing on card board and start spraying the paint and remember to keep at least 10 to 12 inches distance between your hand and the housing.
and make sure you spray 2 thin coat of paint equally.
and let it dry for at least 3 hours. then take off all the masking tape and the paly dough, and simply instal the housing.
and this is what you get:D

NOTE: I STILL DIDNT INSTAL THE MIDDEL PART OF THE HOUSING, STILL DRYING.

I have a couple of questions:
1. how well does this paint stick to the phone casing? Any scratches yet?
2. How did you protect the side buttons when painting it? It looked like you couldn't remove those buttons prior to painting.

well this is the answer.
ok i was going to send my phone again to have the housing changed to the red color, but i decided to take the chance and the risk and do it my self:p and it was successful.
tools i used: picture frame hanger. T6 Screw driver and a pair of tweezers.
and then you insert the picture hanger nicely on the bottom part of the antenna cover to the left side (next to the camera lens) and do go deep and push the antenna cover towards the top and with the help of your fingers pressure slide the cover.
take the cover off and put it on the side.
unsnap the antenna cover towards the top.and remove it with the pair of tweezers.
remove the bower button key.
unscrew the 4 screws using T6 crewdriver.
with your finger or with a help of a credit card (thanks C-DUB) unsnap the top cover.
and put it away.
and simply replace it with the other cover (color of your choice).
now screw back the 4 screws.
reinstal the antenna and make sure you put it back in the right place and is not moving around.
remember to put back the power button key in place.
slide back the antenna cover like you do when sliding the battery cover and make sure it click on the right place.
place the battery back in the phone and put the cover back.
power on your phone.
mission completed.
PS: I DID NOT CHANGE THE MIDDLE PART OF THE HOUSING FOR WARRANTY REASON. BUT IT'S THE SAME THOUGH.
AND IM not responsible for any damages caused to your phone.
