Does anyone know if I can set up my Yahoo account to retrieve email from my Outlook. If yes, can you set it up to retrieve only certain emails?

Thanks

Hey HarleyDog

I do this, my Yahoo.email retrieves the emails from my "normal" email-adress.
Its in the "ADD POP3 account"settings.

On Yahoo.dk where I have the account, I dont think you're able to set it up to retrieve "only" some emails, but you might be able to do this on the Yahoo.com adresses.

I Just thought about it :
I did try to get Yahoo.dk to only retrieve NEW MAILS,..it didnt work on the DK-version.
When I asked the Yahoo.mail to "go get emails" it came up with : CANT DO ! PLEASE REMOVE THE "ONLY NEW MAILS-setting".
Then it worked fine

BTW : I just added a new folder in the YAHOO.mail called "newmail",..and then directed the incoming pop3 mail to this specific folder.

Just so that you dont get ALL emails in one folder

You need :

Your Mail-account server (i.e pop name)
your mail-account username
your mail-account password

And thats about it

BTW: You can tick the "retrieve only new mails" of,..but that didnt work for me.
It depends in some way, on your other email-providers server-settings,..cant remember what right now. Just try it,..Yahoo.mail will tell right away, if it works

Hmm, its "just" the name of the mail-server.
Dont you already have this,..from when you signed up with them ?
Or, just thought about this,..shouldnt it be in the outlook-settings by the way ?
Under : ACCOUNT > MAIL
