Does anyone know when or if a new firmware version might be out?
I'm thinking of upgrading, which is a bit of a practical effort, so would prefer to wait if a newer version might be out soon. If there's no firm news out, any comments on the usual frequency of updates would be welcome.

Since he posted in the P800 forum, it's pretty safe to assume he has a P800. Also R2F has been available for quite a while so its also resonable to assume that a new firmware might be available soon. I'd say if you've got R1D, get R2F. If you've got R2D, don't bother.

And thanks for the views. Guess SE aren't going to pre-announce upgrades really, and as I'm on R1D I'll take your advice and get on with an upgrade.
