I have a T610 and WinXP, I can set up a serial connection but when I open the SE Image Editor software, it says "No T610 series detected". I think it might also disconnect the connection when it loads up.
I read in another topic that someone else had the same problem and they uninstalled mobile phone monitor which fixed the problem but i can't find any uninstall options for mpm.

Open command prompt/cmd, and go to C:Program FilesEricssonCommunications SuiteMobile Phone Monitor
run anubisuninst.exe /U
@cmarkr:
Make sure that the COM port used by your BlueTooth Serial port (you get a message stating which COM will be used when you start it up) is enabled in Phone Monitor
