Here you go guys,,,everyone has lusted after the Mineral Grey P800 and until now it would have cost you an arm & a leg to get it plus part with your Electric Blue P800,,,,kind'a hard to justify?? Well, no longer thanks to my good ole boys in Mission Viejo, California.........Damn, what's going on in California??? Orange County Choppers whacking on perfectly good Harley's and now Virtual Dynamix is turning it's craft on P800's for a full "FACTORY CONVERSION" of your beloved Electric Blue to the "MINERAL GREY"... I tell ya, it's something to behold and much better than the Electric Blue for me....luckily, I got both now.......Don't try this at home though as I am told it requires bending plastic parts and basically is the same service required for replacing a P800 screen..
But hey, I know what you guys really want to see (unless it's Esato's haters....and I think I will let them see anyway) photos...so here ya go....
Electric Blue is Fun, Sassy, and Sexy......
But Mineral Grey speaks to me of Elegance, Sophistication, and Timeless Fashion that few can ever appreciate or afford....
Mineral Grey vs. Electric Blue.....What is your Color??
Cam Buttons and Internet Buttons are Factory Mineral Grey OEM replacements....
Full Housing Conversion with replacement of details such as the Power Button to match the OEM Mineral Grey are made.....It will never appear to have been anything else and the attention to detail is complete...
What you lose in the conversion.....
What you gain.......
This is my idea of the best of both worlds in P800 ownership....
Self-Serving, Gratuitious, Bikini shots of Amy in Jamaica, relevence? Took with the first P800 and seen for the first time on my Mineral Grey...
Firmware was also upgraded to "R2F" and my Camcoder application is operating much better than with the "R2D"........Another great service by Virtual Dynamix...
So HOW??? do they DO IT???? Here is my "French Made" "American Spec" Electric Blue P800 before it went under the pliers & screwdriver...and the following photos should not be viewed by children or those with weak stomachs......
And the carnage begins.....
And when the guys at Virtual Dynamix are through with it....well a Picture say's a Thousand Words..........
So my thanks go out to Sung and Rick at Virtual for their Super Quick service and professionalism. All parts were returned to me along with some extra blue styli, guess they don't know about the PimP'In Stick and my Mineral Grey was securely wrapped and packaged for a perfect return home. For those of you who would like a Mineral Grey, get it....much better looking for the P800 especially if you are a business person or like conservative devices. I plan on taking some more photos of the two phones in outdoor sunlight which should really make the difference in color and richness more evident.....

Mate,
The mineral grey housing can be bought from
http://gsm.virtualdynamix.com/ for USD49 but I'm certain whether they will ship outside US.
I'm well up for the complete conversion of mineral grey myself as it's the best colour for P800. One thing that worries me is that since you change the battery compartment's panel with the barcode sticker as well, this would void your warranty. Or I'm wrong?

@vampyriaerotica
I think you void warranty the second you removed something else then the battery cover. That is probably why SE don't stop third party compaines making phone covers. Or I could be totally wrong, I am just guessing.
@Bengalboy
It looks great, though nothing I would dare do on mine. I'd probably break something.

If warranty worries you, Virtual Dynamix is an authorized Sony/Ericsson Service Center and all work is performed with warranty to remain intact. A great reason to let them do it.
