any idea how to send ringtones and themes from your laptop to the t610 over infra red,

Look, there's a search button over on the left.
Also, you must be more descriptive with your thread titles.
Anyway, put the T610 by the infrared port (point it at the top of the phone), then just right click the file and then Send To --> Infrared Recipient.

Don't forget to enable the IR port on the laptop
it's often disabled by default in the laptops bios.

You will get a prompt on the phone about incoming item asking if you want to save
