HOWEVER, opening your phone up to alter the face plate may very well void your warranty. So before you go and do that, you need to ask yourself if that is worth it!
Oh and

Check ebay.com There are loads of t610 casing being offered for not too much... $10 for a casing is something I'd paint black too
