What is the easiest way to transfer my 'multi-field' phonebook from Nokia 6510 to my new t610?

Importing the nokia phonebook into outlook, and then syncing with T610 is one way to go.

Sending contacts over IR is another (slow)

U mean 1 contact at a time? That is really slow...

I tried to synhronise my nokia with MS Outlook but while the calendar was transfered ok, not all the phonebook went into outlook, except the contats that included a 'text entry' such as email, adress, etc...
What is wrong?

Isn't it possible to send all contacts at once via infrared? When you sync with Outlook, try creating a contacts file instead. You can't use that in Outlook (as you said) but it should work if you send that file to your T610... Good luck! This message was posted from a T300

Send the file to t610? And then what? How will the phone read the file?
