Just wondering if any of you guys know where Pjotter stores it's "learned" words and if there's any way to edit them or delete them entirely.

Appreciate anyone's help (",)

well excuuuuuuuse me... I did try to search and for your information, the thread you pointed out to does not answer my question at all!!!!!!, why don't you read before you preach!, if you don't know the answer, suggest you not try to sound smart and direct me to a post that does not provide the answer. Maybe you should do a search search yourself or at least try to learn how to read!

@vtr

I searched, you clearly did not.

Granted, the thread I linked to did not directly answer your query. However, the linked thread is on a very close subject, and an extremely useful variation on your query, and I would be surprised that if you did not continue in *THAT* thread, and followed the links to the other forum contained therein, you would not find the answer to your query... You clearly do NOT "Appreciate anyone's help (",)"

You'll note too that my post was not malicious, as I signed off with a ' '.

Have a nice weekend...

They are stored in a file called words.DB which is located at

c:systemappsSymmetricDogwords.DB

it's just a simple text file with the list of words and how many times they have been used (for the frequency list)

e.g

apple,1
esato,5
snarffball,1
zoom,2

Can you guess what I wrote? (remembering it doesn't record words of three letters or under) hehe

@spc

I decided to start a new thread because the one you pointed out to was on dictionary for pjotter. What I wanted to know was if anyon knew the exact file location of where "learned" words are stored. I felt that it does not belong to the same thread mainly because it'll deviate from the initial purpose of said thread. Am sorry if I overacted, but I feel that asking me or accusing me of not doing a search first in this case was uncalled for.

Besides, your post was of no help to me at all. as mentioned, the thread you directed me to does not answer my problem.

you have a nice weekend too!

@kearnage
THANKS FOR YOUR SPEEDY REPLY!, you answered my concern

I've never known a message board where people were so arsey when it came to questions that had previously been asked. I also read and post on a micro RC helicopter board and there all the old-timers are welcoming of newbies and will answer basic questions even if they have been asked many, many times before. There's a real feeling of comradery and we're all happy to greet new initiates in to our hobby. Here the attitude borders on condescending and hostile.

Why are some people here so ungenerous?
