you can have it upgraded @ semicon, smartnet, SESS (check out their respective threads here under Asia Pacific forum).

a thread about R8A015 fw can be found here:

Upgrades are one shot deals - you can't back up your old firmware, nor can you downgrade it afterwards.

Official upgrades are done by local service points:
smartnet
SESSS
semicon
SE Shop (operated by memoexpress) - SM City, N. Edsa

Please check their contact information and location at the start of each linked thread.

So, what changes would there be if I upgraded to that firmware you were talking about? What would be the advantages? What effects would it have on my phone?
please tell all, because I'm Planning to upgrade my t68i also... Thanks.

Sony Ericsson only releases firmware upgrades if there are things to be fixed. oh, just get an upgrade. it doesnt really matter what's new with it, because there is definitely a purpose of existence for that upgrade... other than revenues for SE and the service points (for non-warranty units).

i'd have to agree with ferrarista44, just get the upgrade 'coz i'm sure it'll improve your phone. i heard somewhere in these forums that r8a will improve key and joystick response and give 4 additional games. as for me, i'm getting an upgrade coz' i want to use the zoom function of my mca-25.
