Hi,
I just got my T610 yesterday. When I tried to charge the unit while it is turned off, the screen light turns turn showing it is charging. But it only turned off after 5-10 minutes... Why so long? Is that normal?

Strange, why would they make it stay on for sooooo long? Probably those SE programmers didn't realise that when users turn off their phones, they want meant "off" (no lights)

due to it being a diff screen to the nokia screens they need to turn ont eh backlight as you cant see the charging indicator very well unlike the nokia screens they can light up a single part of the screen dark enuff to show the indicator even in bad lighting.

mine stays on for ages... i have a bunk bed thing and my desk is in front of it, my t610 is always charging on my desk. it always keeps me awake by lighting up the whole room...

Yeah, it is really annoying to have the light turned on while charging.
Guess the only way to by pass this problem is to charge the mobile while the phone is on...
