okidoky i have had a world of trouble getting gprs email mms to work i have called vodaphone and all they do is send me files that i either dont get or dont work, i have tried the online configurators but same deal they send me data that doesnt work or doesnt get to me

so what im after is for another vodaphone user in australia who uses gprs and all that to send me broken down into every detail their data accounts and everything i need to manually configure my t610 for this
any help is appreciated

messaging>e-mail>options>edit account> new account> (name of acount)> connect using> VFAU Internet (select) >protocol> pop3 (for most email servers)>incoming server> (better check with your isp) mail.iinet.com.au> incoming port >110>mailbox> (email username)>password> (password)> outgoing server> (again check with you isp) mail.iinet.com.au > outgoing port > 25 > email address > username@isp.com.au > download > (up to you, but since voda is pricy for gprs i use headers only) > from name > (your name) > signature > (i leave it blank to save on the kb's) > copy outgoing > (upto you, i use no to save on phone memory) > check interval > upto you (i use off, and just manually use send/receive when i want to check on mail) > save !!!!

thats it, it should work.
the only issues you might have is sending email, as some isp's will not allow you to use their smtp servers if your not based on their network at the time.
also a send and recive uses about 2k over gprs, so for every time you check your mail (and not downloading anything, ie no mail) it will cost you 8 cents. just fyi.
