A very good phone with java and the highest mobility due to extreme small values of size and weight, fast GPRS and an excellent PC Suite. My next phone will be the Samsung D700,with series 60 platform.I think Samsung is very developed especially concerning the GPRS and upcoming 3G UMTS,I recommend Samsung to everyone who is searching for a fast and reliable GPRS phone with a brilliant Colour screen and amazing polys.

And also the Samsung phone software is very limited. The IR-port is almost useless with all it's limitations. Might be a good phone for people who only makes calls (but the crappy battery performance might put off the "just-use-my-phone-for-calling-people").

Read a review of it in What Cellphone. Why are nearly all samsungs silver. Service centre support for Samsung is lousy. Where is the mms, email, bluetooth, camera. Why does the V200 have no games? The only reason i buy sony ericsson is the depth of features.

At least here in Greece the SE service point of Athens repairs Samsung too after a special arrangement.Anyway the S300 has Java games too like com2us bowling with real sounds, battery time in real conditions is 4 days on with approximately 40 minutes voice calls and irda browsing, thats fairly good concidering the small size. And so far I got with SE phones from T68i to P800 and T610 in usage, they never pulled more than three days. My next phone will be the D700 which has everything and more(Series 60,MMC card,MMS,Java etc)combined in small size,I dont like any disfunctional bricks like Nokias or a P900 brick which probably will be packed with new problems,Samsung is working excellent.

The Samsung S300M has MMS. The V200 HAS 3 games.
I agree that they lack some features, but many people don't need them. The speech quality is excellent and RF is superb.
The V200 screen is also much better than the T610 screen.
Battery could be better , but mine(V200) lasts for approx. 3 days and that is OK by me. You also have an extra battery included with the phone.

@jac
What i liked about my v200 (that i swapped for t610) was:
Display (Really brilliant!)
Keypad (one of the best iīve tried)
Reception was excellent
Ringtone volume *Ohmygod, this is LOUD!*
Cons: T9 sucked big time! SMSīing in general was a pain!
Calendar: Do koreans only have one appointment/day? If I had a meeting at 3 pm and the dentist at 4pm, i had to schedule the dentist the next day and then move it.. Like.. wow..
IR-eye: Donīt know why they put it there in the first place? Decoration? It was useless anyway.
And why am I not allowed to remove the built in ringtones? They had nice quality but the tunes were embarrassing!
Whatīs wrong with being able to have ringtone and vibration simultaneously? The only options i found were vibe only, ring only or vibrate three times and THEN ring?!
I am sorry, but I classify the v200 as a "Pamela Anderson-phone", Sexy, good looking and nice to touch, but the inside totally unimpressive

I do agree what SMS concerns. But about IR Samsung has the most advanced GPRS Modem pc suite which works very good and without errors, not once, works perfectly with xp.All in all connection settings are easily installed from the content of pc suite and work smoothly. My concern is about the features too, they somehow lack but hopefully the upcoming d700 model has no Samsung bugs, but only the standard Series 60 features,it appears to be so.
