How long do you think T610 will be an atractive phone.
The T68 has been on the market for a couple of years now, and is still loved by many people.
I'm also thinking about to buy a new phone, but I dont know if I need an T610 because I alredy have a digitalcamera. Any suggestions?

The T68 has been around for about 20 months... I got my first in mid November 2001. The T68i has been going for about 17 months and they are both still going strong. I'd say the T610 has a couple of years good life too but only with the less frequent mobile buyers. People like us on here generally probably change phones anually, if not more regular than that!
In regards to the second point. You don't buy the T610 because of its camera... thats just an extra feature it has which is handy for quick snaps that you want to email or MMS or just add as a background on the phone. I thin kmany of us with T610's also have digital cameras of 2, 3 or more megapixels and don't see the phone as a replacement for those.
Buy the T610 because its a pretty snazzy phone which has pretty much all the features you are likely to need!

I didnt read the guys post as complaining about the camera's in phones, it seemed he was concerned about the longevity of the T610 and its features before he commited money towards it.

I think there is a chance that the life span of phones will become shorter and shorter, because more and more competitive phones will be brought out in the near future. We'll have to wait and see for how long the T610 will remain a novelty.
