hi .. i just got a new T616 yesterday and I believe my family signed up for cingulars family plan. i was wondering though if i had WAP enabled because I wanted to d/l polyphonic ringtones. is there someway VIA the phone that i can check if I have wap setup? i was screwing around with the wap settings (and i think i screwed it up) because it's saying GPRS failed now .. and i'm unsure what i was suppose to edit >_

thanks for the warm welcome

i'm unsure whats the difference. i'm sure GSM would be the way, but could you possibly give me whats the differences and perhaps we can go from there.

i'd like to be able to d/l more themes and polyphonic ringtones for this T616.

Would you not consider downloading screensavers, themes etc. to your PC then sending them to your phone via Bluetooth or IR? I've gone down that route myself rather then using WAP.

why would i pay more to get bluetooth and ir on my computer when WAP's already there? don't get me wrong .. perhaps it's easier .. but i'm not in to spend more $$.
