it only recharges when the cable to the charger is stretched (E.G when i pull it, or when i leave the phone hanging in the cord... what might be wrong with it?

you might want to try leaning the contacts, most people suggest lighter fluid, but i find vodka works best, why didnt SE include a cover for thos contacts? it would make life easier!
