Hi guys,
U'd think it be hard to mod an ordinary phone charger into a USB connection for my PC ?
I know a mate of mine has done it with their nokia charger... just i have a spare ericsson charger and was thinking of giving it a go...
what do you think, possible ?

A USB port provides +5V @ maximum 500 mA. The charger of the phone requires 4.9V @ 450 mA. A little bit out of specs what the voltage concerns. You would have to make sure that no other devices are on the USB bus you would use to charge your phone.
I use a USB port on my computer to 'steal power' for power a circuit I made that uses about 100 mA. This works very well.

Could be possible, but I wouldn't try it with my phone though
