hi, i got the t610 few days ago, its excellent, apart from the stupid hissing, wich isnt to bad and slight flickering hard 2notice tho,
if i take this to carfone warehouse repair centre (didnt buy it from there) willt hey upgrade the software for free like the t68i ?? also wil they update the hissin thing to, for free ?

but... yes! carphone warehouse will upgrade your firmware for free if you show your receipt for the phone, just like they did for the T68i.
To get the hiss fixed you need to send the phone to Celestica. A search will give you all the details of where to send etc that you need!
