I have a 128 MS Duo and I wanted to now use this as my main memory stick instead of the supplied one. What is the best way to transfer all the stuff e.g. apps, pictures and so on, onto my new memory stick.

Many Thanks

assuming the original duo has more on it than can fit on the phone then transferring via a pc seems the best option assuming the pc has memory stick capability or you have a memory stick reader of some sort.

Can you not backup just the MSD using the P800 software, switch MSDs, then restore back again? Or is there some i.d. of the original MSD (concerning size etc.) recorded?

Steven.

Buy a Memory Stick mouse - a fantastic device that is hugely useful when swapping files between everything (i.e. Sony stuff) that uses MS and MS Duo and everything else.

Actually, I did that when I bought my 128mb msduo. I guess it's the simplest way to do it. I backed up the old duo then restored the data into the new duo.

This might be tedious but try it.
Manually copy selected entries in your 128duo to ur phone's internal memory. Next, exchange duos (use the new one) open items to be transferred and move or copy to the new duo.

This is best for picture files.
Tried movin mp4s and mp3s too but it would require the internal memory to have bigger space. U can do it one at a time though if ur not in a hurry.

Hope my piece helps.
