I am not sure about the p800 but you cannot send any pictures or ringtones via ir or bt from se to a n. Nokia doesn't support data transfer. The only thing you can share between the phones are contacts. Thats all i have heard in this forum.

you CANNOT transfer apps, infrared or otherwise from the P800 to the 7650 or vice versa. The reason being that even though both run Symbian, the environment they both host prevents 7650 apps from running on the 7650, and vice versa. The only exception are Java MIDlets, and even so you would need to trasnfer the JAR file.
MIDI ringtones/pictures CAN be beamed via IR between the two (though you find the process is a BIT more easier from the P800 to the Nokia, as opposed to the other way round). Nokia RTTL and SE imy ringtones are transferable, but you cant do much, since they are sepecific to the phone.

Sorry... I don't agree with above post! I am transfering applications (SIS files) all the time from my P800 to my girlfriend's Nokia 3650 via IR... lately also via Bluetooth (using SMAN's Blue beam). Using File Manager (Epocware) I copy the N3650 applicaiton to some folder on P800, then using P800's File Manager (qfileman) or SMAN, I beam the application to Nokia 3650.
Maybe things are different with N7650... in that case ignore my post!

o44en: That's for Nokia Series 40 phones only... The 7650 is a Series 60 phone.
YES, you can transfer apps, pictures and ringtoned between a P800 and a 7650 via IR and BT. For the applications, it HAS to be the actual SIS or JAR file.
