cannot see this being mentioned earlier, but SE is now back in the top 5.
Seems like strong sales of the T610 as well as camera phones in Japan has helped boost its figures.
In the Smartphoen arena, its number two, which is more impressive since the only smartphone it currently sells is the P800

I believe SE will do even better in Q3 since T610/T616 are only available for most countries since July ! Now SE need to launch Z600, T220 etc soon to capture even more market share ! Go SE !

I still don't understand how Siemens can be ahead of SE ... their current phones really suck (even if it looks like the new ones coming up are really kewl ...)

I have to say, it always surprises me when I see someone using a phone other than a

or N*kia: the Samsung flips I can just about accept, but thos sh*tty Sagem jobs, or the dodgy Motorola things....oooh, sends a shiver down my spine!

@Elkman
Might have something to do with the fact that the S55 for example has all the stuff the t68i should have had (or gotten through time)
Like, Java, proper address book with loads of fields, Bluetooth that works as a charm regardless of dongle (it seems anyway since mine has worked flawless with dongles their owners couldnīt get to work with t68i)
A virtual filesystem you can explore and erase, replace or add files to your hearts content
As I see it, Siemens problem is that thay are one step behind all the time. When they eventually get their thumbs out of their arses, other companies (like SE) have new models almost ready for release..
Also, they have the ME45, along with the /// "sharkfin" without a doubt THE most rugged durable phone.
I wouldnīt knock Siemens, they and SE are about the only alternatives for me anyway, and they share more similarities than differences. AND Best of all, they are 100% no-Nokia!

ThreeX ... I agree the S55 is a nice phone, very close (if not better) than the T68 but it came out one year later and it has pretty much the same specs with some minor improvements maybe. And, most importantly, it is the fisrt decent phone from Siemens, I havent seen any other one before the S55 worth considering any attention ... anyway I guess Siemens is much better at marketing their products than SE (actually everybody seems much better than SE when it comes to this). I still believe SE has by far the best GSM phones from a technical standpoint, light years ahead of Nokia, Siemens and the other bunch but they are very lousy when it comes to sell them unfortunately.
