Hi, Is it only me that has noticed differences in different T610's LCD?

I have a W17 phone and compared to a W26 phone,
The W26 has better colors
The W17 is a bit lighter

I tried different pictures and compared to the phones, the newer does colors better but when comparing WHITE color, then my W17 phone is alot alot better.

Also the keypad leds are different. The W26 are more blue..

I checked in the secret service menu that it says same version.. but I definiatly see difference..

Maybe they only changed the leds behind buttons and lcd.. and the new one gives this effect..

W17 lcd looks much better, I hate when white isn't really white

Yep. I got my Abyss Blue T610 yesterday which is W28 and it is definitly darker than the W17 Aluminium Haze I got in the first week they were available. I've actually turned the contrast right up and now it looks similar.

I also agree about the later model having better colours too but don't see much difference in the keypad lights.

Ok I just paired my HBH-30 with the new phone and the sound is the same as with the older one so no change there.

As far as the hardware version goes... well the box is at home and the label in the phone is hard to read but it looks like R3A (though possibly R8A but I don't think so). The older phone is R2E.

But can you compare whites?? the white color is better in older phones.. I am afraid, cause if my phone gets an replacement. .then I wont like the new phones.. my phones lcd has a dot and its likely it will be replaced.. I don't like the new lcd's

One other thing I noticed is that the default cubes screen saver on the new phone is much much faster than the old phone. Putting them side by side the old one stutters between each image change where as the new one is fluid. (both phones are R1L013)

I also tested Jbenchmark on both and got the same result of 272.

I think you can only get the lcd software version and its in the same place that you find the firmware version.

I don't think you can find a separate hardware version for the screen only for the whole phone. This is on the box or in the middle of the first line on the sticker under the battery.
