I ahve installed PVAuthur, but when I go to creat the new mp4 file it crashes, this happens every single time.... any sugestions?

It has started to happen with mine aswell! I get to the stage were by to select encode but the encode button stays grayed out and a few secs later, I get a msg saying '' Not Responding''
I have installed a lot of diff codecs over the last few days, I wonder if there is any conflict with them!
I also try and use movie maker for P800 and it only encodes the audio no video..
With movie maker using QT, I think QT is missing a few files of there is a conflict with the codects that I have installed..
I will have to get it sorted as I am fed up with the movies I have on my Duo, so I wont to encode more.

I uninstalled PV Author and reinstalled it, I was then able to encode one movie! when trying to encode another one, PV Author froze up again!!!

My PVAuthor works fine, but PVPlayer is my problem. Whenever I start it, it asks me to start the Demo, I click on it and it says "Error ???t????". This seems to happen even if I download the app again. I have even tried erasing my Hard disk and re-instaling it! Any Ideas or is it a Windows 98 thing?

Why would you want to use it?
You can use QuickTime instead.
It's even cheaper (AFAIK).

I'm having the same problem, when i try to encode the computer crashes! I nearly had encoded a full episode when it decided to freeze right near the end. What is the problem its getting me very irate!
