> T610 update in London
Bookmark topic
I know this has been answered before, and you'll shout at me for asking again, but, hey, what's the "New Topic" button for?
I just got my T610, and it's a Vodafone Live! version. (Why the f*** did they start branding their contract phones? That just sucks, I hate branded phones. And it's network locked, too. Lamers)
The network lock doesn't bother me, but I'd like to update the firmware to the latest standard firmware. At the moment it has R1A081 Live!.
Anyone know any stores that would be willing to update it to the latest standard firmware for free, and preferably with not a very long wait?
Will CPW do this, or would they insist on putting the new Live! firmware on?
Cheers
Cardo

Hi! I think the nearest SE Service Centre to London is in Walthamstow, 855 Forest Road, tel 020 89239991, they can upgrade to the latest firmware and also change the language pack...I need to go there myself so I do not know much more!

Go into the service menu... > * are joystick movements), click on service info, then simlock. If all the padlocks are open then the phone is fully unlocked. If a padlock is closed then the phone is locked to that feature.
