I called SE and complained again for my ~20 times on the ringing tones being ascending.. .
And the guy I talked with told me that SE got alot of complaints on this and they are thinking of removing it and let us really choose to have it OFF!!!!
And he told me the reason for it being on was that before they did polyhonic ringingtones they heard that alot of people complaining about that the polyphonic ringingtones are to loud and scares people alot.
So they made them always ascending and turn down the max volume
I hope this is true, and after they remove this ascending thing they also make them louder!!

was this SE customer support? if so then with respect, and with understanding with how much conviction the person may have been speaking.... I have yet to talk to ANY se customer service representative who knew dog sh*t about anythnig including latest firmware version, differences in new version, or when a product will be released or... what SE developers may or may not do in the future!
but I guess we can all live in hope!
edit: gee I hope I don't sound too negatrive about SE customer support but I was talking to them again this afternoon and hung up on them out of sheer frustration!

Recently updated to R1L013 and i'm wondering if it's just me or is the warning for loud ring tones appearing more often now?
Beore it only showed up when setting the ring volume to max, now it seems to appear more often...
Anyone?
