are they the same thing ?? or do you mean the speaker on the handset is hissing and on the BT crackling ... ??
kinda stupid question but this confuses me ...

The hissing is found in earlier models. It comes from the speaker on the phone, and you can hear it while speaking.
This is now solved, and new handsets do not "hiss". However, there is a soft fuzzy noise in the background (same on all phones) - this is the comfort noise - to let you know the call is active.
The "Bluetooth Crackling" comes through the bluetooth headset, and seems to occur on all T610s at the moment. It sounds like sizzling bacon or something, but newer firmwares should solve the issue.
