Hi guys maybe you can help me out...

I bought a generic BT using a Widcomm software version 1.3.2.7. Unfortunately this version has a conflict with my lotus notes. I contacted Widcomm regarding my problem and they replied to me with this email:

"This problem was reported in BTW 1.3.2.07 version of our software. It has been fixed in all software versions above BTW 1.3.2.17

[01/22/2003] - Resolved, Modified the BTW startup procedure to only install the Send To Bluetooth functionality into Lotus Notes the first time it detects Lotus Notes is installed. This should limit the password prompt to just this first time BTW starts.

It will be necessary for you to contact your vendor and request and upgrade of 1.3.2.17 or higher to eliminate this problem. WIDCOMM can not provide upgrades to end-user per agreement with our vendors."

Now my question is where can I download BTW 1.3.2.17 to solve my problems. Maybe you can just post the address im looking for.

Hmm ... i thought the widcomm bt stack version you have is 1.3.2.7? isn't that supposed to be newer than 1.3.2.17? (or is that 1.3.2.07)

unfortunately I cannot access ftp sites so i cannot download the latest BTW

anyway are there any more non-ftp sites which I can access?

and yes my BTW version is 1.3.2.07 eheheheheh

Widcomm stack currently is not open to public download, only bundle together with the dongle.

if that is the case how can I upgrade the SW to 1.3.2.17 if its not open for public download?

I guess that's what I get for getting a generic BT ... bummer!

so .... any solutions?
