Hi All! New poster here!
I've been a frequent visitor of the esato P800 forum for quite some time now and u guys have been a big help!
anyway, I did a search for this topic regarding a camera flash but all I got were threads abt MAcromedia flash player for P800.
So, has anyone come across this site lately? It shows a flash equipment for the T610.

Will this work with the P800? When will it come out then?

thanx..

No, when there was a global support page for it (seems to have been removed lately) it listed compatibility only with the T61* series.

However this thread with info from howard forums shows something that is a constant light that attaches to the bottom but I've seen nothing more about it since.

edit: actually it is the MFP-10 in its torch mode

The MPF-10 flash shown on the coming soon pages is a proper flash which flashes when you take the pic and here it also says T610 only.

We have had this on discussion before. And the conclussion where that it won't work as a flash. Because on the P800 we would have to press it manually when we take the picture. Meaning pressing two buttons at once.
So we don't think it will be the flash function with any other phone then the T610. But some form of flashlight (sounds odd I know).

Yes, I forgot about that thread... here it is and in fact although you can no longer enter MPF-10 into the global support page to call up the details, the links I gave their to the manual and compatibility pages still work!

Thanks guys!

Hopefully, someone will come out with an app which will allow us to just press the flash button to take a pic. No need for the "press 2 buttons simultaneously" instruction..
