Just a headsup for all thos who may or have bought a 128mb stick DUO off Stevesworld101 (Antwerp, Belgium).

He's taken about 15 orders of £65 + P&P and no deliveries. Also no longer responding to any of his buyers emails.

Looking back in his feedback, he *had* a good rating (not now, as his negative feedback is rife from this affair). He has let people down with memory sticks before but always refunded. Not this time however, he is just not bothering.

If he should advertise again on there, Id recommend buyer beware.

I just got burned for £60

B*st*rds like that are why I'm reluctant to go near Ebay!

I know people for the most part have good experiences with Ebay, but there's no way I'm setting myself up for that kind of fall!

Im fuming

I've reported the schmuck to Ebay and filed a Paypal refund request. It could take a month to get my £60 back.

It's a shame because apart from this, I've had no problems with Ebay. Just got unlucky

Still, have now got a UK seller sending me a 128mb DUO by RMSD confirmed

Just £60 out of pocket until ebay/paypal do their thing.

One more reason to look at my post: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=35101&forum=35

@ Everybody the MS DUO 128 MB is simply not available, this is why the Guy can't deliver it. My offer is not that bad @ all. Think over it and reply in my above thread!

@gandamunda

DO NOT SPAM MY THREAD

This is a thread to warn buyers of a rogue trader. NOT for you to pimp your wares. Use the accessories for sale forum for that. Im sure that's why Esato provided it.

Cheese ...

Quick!!.. did you pay by paypal????!!

File a complaint with paypal and you can get a refund. I managed to scare a refund out of this guy an hour ago or so.

Just do it fast bud. Also, remember to file a case with Ebay. The applied pressure will make him cough up.

He says he was totally let down by his supplier, but its not the first time he has backed out on memory stick deals.

I wish you luck, get in touch via PM with me.. as I have another email addy for him that paypal gave me.

Ps...

Payed by bank transfer!!!..... just e-mailed the guy with about 20 mails demanding (politely) to know the situation, he's replied to me asking for my bank details and say's he will fully refund me and that he doesn't want to have a bad feedback record with his customers!!! (bit late??? ) anyway sent bank details and am keeping fingers crossed...

thanks for the link, may invest in that - it looks alot safer!!

Hi I have been burned by this Stevesworld bloke too, please confirm he is refunding you so I too can claim back from him, I have had a mail today saying he is having his lawyers in touch with his supplier that let him down. I don't know what to do, does the complaining to EBay work and can Paypal extract the money out of this bloke?

I have been using Ebay without problems until this bloke so don't know what to do know its gone wrong......

Makes me sick......

@Cheese on...

Phew. Im glad you got your money back as well! .. totally bizarre this situation is. He has never even seen the products but is selling them???!!!

@elbarto...

Get onto paypal NOW. Seriously. They will hassle the hell out of him to get your money back. Also file a fraud report with Ebay.

Im not trying to be nasty to the guy as things happen, but selling goods without having them in your hand.. bad idea. He only has himself to blame for not being more sure. His supplier has let him down twice before, so once bitten, twice shy should have been applied.

He has spoiled an otherwise flawless feedback profile with this. Not a smart move for him.

PM me if you have any problems as I have continued conversation with him following my refund
