I got two T616's together from the same store and as I was handling my sister's phone I noticed that the screen was brighter! Then I put my phone up to hers and yes, hers is indeed much brighter. So bright that the colors are a tiny bit washed out compared to mine (like what happens to monitors, black level turns grey). Hers is week 27 and mine is 28. Both of our contrast settings are normal. I cannot figure out which one of our phones is messed up, hers or mine?

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't you just change the contrast setting to your liking?
If you want both phones to be the same change the setting on both untill they match
I'm guessing theres a litle diffrence on most displays and have a hard time thinking will see that as an error if its just a tad diffrent from another phone.

the problem is that my sister's screen is brighter than mine. I already tried messing with my contrast settings to try and match hers, but contrast is contrast, the screen is still dimmer than hers.

Seriously if its a problem you should talk to a service center
it's hardware.

you can adjust the brightness in the options
and also from the service menu.

@Lars
You can't adjust the brightness, but you can adjust contrast.
And adjusting contrast wont effect brightness

It wont help... The new ones have less lightness.
