Ok, i have a problem...T65

In my phonebook I assign a tone to one person, my own melody, that when it is calling me, that tone rings...ok, that works...

BUT !!!

When I recieve message from that person my T65 does not beep normaly (twice), instead he is playing that melody I assign to that person, just like he is calling me, but he's not calling me, it is just message from him ??

Anybody with same problem ??

Please help, it is very anoying...thanks

Ericsson T65, soft version R2B

@edins

If my T68i had this behavior I would consider it a feature

@edins

I might have that opinion since the message tone for the new T68i is so low that I barely hear it. Isn't there a way for you to change this setting in the message tone menu?

No...in the message menu, there is, tone, click, silent...I looked everywhere in mobile, even in my manual...

nothing about that...

it is, for me, completley stupid...

@edins

How about choosing the click sound? Doesn't that help either?

Nice melody for the call, yes! But I thought you wanted to stop it from playing when recieving a message from that person. Changing the message tone to click wont change the melody for the call.

I see...I get it now...the "tone" means when I get a message, it goes beep-beep, but if I have a special tone for that person the "tone" means that particular tone...

and the click remains no click no mather what I use for tone...

Ok, funny, strange...how come that T68 does not have that ??
