I just got myself a T68i, which really behaves starngely. After I bought it, the phone had some power in it so the phone could start, I see the screen backlight and the keypad light, but nothing appears on the screen. The led doesnt seem to blink. Then I started charging it, and still nothing after well over an hour, no charging indicator on the screen. If i turn it off, the led does work and is red as it is supposed to be, but still nothing on the screen. I tried entering my PIN or doing the service code, no luck.
Is it broken?!

It sounds like it's broken. Try removing the battery, then setting it in again and charging for a while. If it still doesn't work, take it back to the store or to the
service center

I see what you mean, but really nothing on the screen, not even after almost 2h of charging ?! The charger seems to work since it is quite warm.

Ufff and this one is really strange!!
I figured out what i was wrong with the pin, tried to much so i had it blocked, i figured it out by he sound of the phone. So I had in another sim, open the phone, enter the pin, ok, 3 secs later i heard the 3 beeps from the network lock ! Still nothing on the screen. I dial a number, nothing happens, but i did hear some hiss. I end it, and I get a call from the guy on my fixed phone asking if i called him ! He said he picked up.... !!!!!!!!
Next test was to call myself from my fixed, i started to hear the interference but nothing from the cell, eventualy after say 10 secs it started to ring !

Made some more tests. Menus seem to work fine, as i did a ->535 and switched the light from auto to on then off then auto, works ok. Then I called the network robot, worked fine, i can hear, BUT the slider doesnt seem to do anything to the volume. Number key dont seem to work either during the call when i tried to access the robot menus...
And yeah, the screen is still blank.

After a tormented, really tormented sleep, because the phone was bought from the street (similar to buying from ebay from a seller that doesnt accept returns
) I woke up. Lets say it got some extra 8h of charging. Now the damn screen works ! Strangest phone experience i ever had.

GOD, no !! It did it again! I closed it to read something from the bat sticker. Put it back togteher, and started it. Again no damn nothing on the screen, and I heard it finding the network and all. I can call with it and all, but nothing on the screen !

u can get LCDs @ ebay
it may be cheaper than gettting a phone all together
