> Unlocking Vodafone T610
Bookmark topic
I've got a question. I bought a UK Voda T610 and paid 20 quid to unlock it, and they sent me an email giving me the code. They said to switch on the phone without the SIM card, then enter the code (22 digits), and then it should say unlocked. Except when I switch it on without the sim card, it just says Insert SIM, and nothing happens when I enter the code.
HELP!!!! They said they're gonna check up on it, but everything takes a week at Vodafone, and I don't wanna wait another week!

there is a hidden menu where the network unlock code should be entered. turn on your phone and press
Then click on the "Network" text that has a CLOSED padlock beside it... thats where I entered my code to unlock it. HOWEVER, my code was only 8 digits long, so maybe yours is somthing different.
But if you want to try it, go ahead... you are allowed to enter 5 wrong codes in this area before it freezes you phone. Just try it once if you are going to try it... make sure its right before you submit it.. don't use up more than one attempt..
You can see the number of attempts at the top (If i remember correctly) It should say somthing like "Blah Blah(5)" with the "5" being the number of attempts left.
REMEMBER!!! ONLY TRY THIS ONCE... DO NOT LOCK YOUR PHONE!!!
Hope this helps

This was the code they gave me.
*#7465625*32*17792957#
Musn't be the right code. Had to wait a week to get it, now they say I gotta join the queue and wait another week before I can get the code.
Sheesh.
