before i went to bed my battery was like 80 % and no application was on except remote p800 !
when i woke up, the phone was off! the battery was empty! could anyone explain why ? is it because i instaled the camcoder? (btw is this the same application as in the new software?)
i have 3,54 mb left on phone memory

Contrary to popular belief, Camcoder doesn't drain battery power...unless it's running of course. I have quite a few apps installed...including Handy Day, Camcoder, Remote P800, P800 remote, SMS Scheduler, SMS Tones, etc...

Remote P800 will drain battery power if it's connected to your PC... check if it's running... or any other app that may be left running in the background... the Communicam drains a lot too if you forget to kill it.

I have experienced this from time to time and I believed I had tracked it down to Remote P800. I have had no problems since removing it from my Sman snapshot.

@watcher
install tracker and use it to close applications that have not got their own close or exit facility like sms, worldmate, ect and various others that will always run in the backround. with tracker installed i only have 3 applications that run in the backround 1) tracker 68k, 2) applications 96k and 3) phone 744k. this leaves 7.27MB free and the batt is not being drained by running these applications in the backround that you cant see. if that does not work mabey you like the phone that much you use it in your sleep? thats why i turn mine off at night.

download Sman its free and will help you to close all applications running in the background. Camcoder does drain the battery if you forgot to exit it every time you use it. Search esato for camcoder draining issues

Try to use SMan, very practical to terminate all applications that run in the background and drain your battery.

Watch for Worldmate, disable the automatic updtae as this function will use automatically your GPRS connection in order to update the weather and currency databases.

Just terminate all applications you do not need to run all the time.
