Hi all, not had my p800 long so I'm not too sure if I'm going about this the right way. I have mp3 ringtones I've d/l'ed and I've transferred them to the phone using the Epocware FileManager software. The files are on the phone in the unfiled audio folder, and playback is fine. What I'm struggling with is assigning these tones to people in the contacts book. When I select the 'Find Melody' option for personal ring, all that is viewed is the default tones.
The files are approx 250kb, so it's not size of file that's the problem. Any help would be gratefully recieved.

I believe you have to convert them to wav to use as a ringtone...
A
search on the forum seems to confirm that.
[EDIT]
Here is a thread you may want to take a look at.

Hi,
your mp3 files are there ok it's just that you can't save (name) them on the P800 memory. If you go to "select melody" you should find one or two "blank" entries (depending on how many mp3s you've saved) if you select one of these and then select playback it should play.
