On the T610 when the phone is used in sunlight the screen is bareley visible. does anyone have the same problem?maybee a few hints to stop it? i am thinking of getting a t610 instead of my t300 but this is putting me off.

Please use search. This has been discussed before. Many times.

yes a search will give you loads of threads about this. One school of though is that choosing your theme wisely will aid in visibility in sunny conditions. Again there are a few threads on this such as this one.

I don't find the t610 screen any harder to see in sunlight, than my old t68. Just find the right angle of the phone towards the sun and the screen is very visible even in bright sunlight. This message was posted from a T610

Totally agree ! Don't have any problem seeing my screen under bright sunlight ! Make sure you turn the phone in a good viewing angle !

Caff, I have to agree with you from what you wrote in another post. It really is down to just getting the viewing angle right and its no problem.

A high contrast theme helps as well. Grey on black (like I've seen in some themes) is never a good idea.

I am happy with my screen on sun, even on direct sunlight. It is readable, but now with all themes.
