Maybe I'm just a sad PDA owner but having owned one (Pocket PC) and also having lost a phone (T68) when being drunk
it would be nice to see a bootup screen with Owner information so people could contact you if they found your phone.....but then I guess I'm assuming there are honest people out there that would actually call
Something for another firmware release?!?!?!

but then... if the person finding the phone has other intentions then returning the phone to the rightful owner he now have all personal information about you... which maybe isn't that good...

Surely it can be done,i have a Panasonic freeview tv box,whenever it is unplugged the first thing that comes up when switched on again is my name and postcode and a pin,but i choose the info on it,its just an owner id if someone nicked it :-D I'm sure SE could do this:-)
