Hello.
Sorry if the question has already been asked, but I didn't find it in this mass of posts and the search also didn't help me.
I'm looking for the Sony Ericsson T610 in Abyss Blue, but it's not released or not available in Germany. Neither Sony Ericsson nor the providers had any information about a release date.
Does anyone know when this color will be availabe?
Thanx
Stefan, Germany

well.. it sounds like you asked the people who would know and apparantly they don't!
I haven't seen any in Frankfurt yet, well except the one in my hand of course!
You could check on sites like
Clickontime or do as I did and get one from
laveenl or get an aluminium haze and replace the housing yourself.

Hm...
The prices without a connection are too high, I think.
I can get an Aluminium Haze one here with a T-D1 connection for about 100 €.
Do you think it makes sense to chance the housing? The Nokia housings for example are of poor quality and unsatisfying, they aren't sitting stable on the handy core. What about the Sony Ericsson ones?
What do you think?

well they are not easily changeable and you may void your warranty if you do it yourself. So I wouldn't recommend it myself.

I would go for an aluminum haze one.
You can get original (!) Sony Ericsson faceplates for a mere 22,95 euros on Ebay Germany ("Sofort-Kauf").
Then add 1,50Euros for a Torx6 Screwdriver.
There are some very detailed pictured reports on how to safely open your T610. So exchanging a faceplate is not a problem at all! I won't take you more than 10 minutes.
cheers,
hymie
ps: There are rumors that T610 in blue is on display (atleast as a dummy in some german T-Mobile outlets)

Hi.
That would be a possibilty, but I wouldn't prefer it to a real blue one...
Can you tell me whether the blue color of T610 in Abyss Blue looks such intensive as on the symbolic photo on the Sony Ericsson website or whether it is more pale? Or do you have a real photo of it?
Thanks
Stefan
