just wondering if the t610 has a joystick counter like the t68i has.

Yeah, they also removed it in the T300's R1G firmware :(

I think the movement of the of joy stick should not weigh in as a determining factor on the resale of a Sonyericsson handset. If the present own has made the effort of maintaining and updating the unit firmware on his or her phone with proof that should be more valuable.
