Dear all

a few days ago I posted a question as to where I could get a new flip whilst I was in the UK last week.

Dave Olsen replied that he had one and I could have it for free, just come & meet him at his office and it was mine. Well a few family related commitments meant my trip into central london wouldn't happen until Friday, when Dave would not be available due to a day off.

Despite this he offered to post the flip to my home in Switzerland on Thursday evening , and he insisted that no postage was payable.

I got home tonight (Monday) to find my flip waiting for me and 2 minutes later I was a delighted P800 owner again.

All too often you here of poor service from companies after they have had your money and so I am totally delighted that a complete stranger (to me) went to all this trouble. Thank you very much Dave.

Dave is an excellent chap and I just wanted to make the rest of you aware of his generous character if you come across him.

Best wishes

Mike

Maybe Dave knew that a small cost to him could have a PRICELESS effect on you.

@mike in Switzerland.

One good deed deserves another - why don't you send Dave some lovely Swiss chocolates and post some "virtual" ones on here for us sad people ?

In this heat? It would be a chocolate drink by the time it got there(nesquik anyone?).

I could always get a box for him to give his significant other - good thinking.

As to the virtual ones

1. Go "ooh"

2. Do "supermodel in sweet-trolley-arrival crisis" (i.e. "ooh, do you think I should?, really?, ok just a little bit though. I'm SO naughty!...")

3. Close your eyes

4. Go "mmmmm"

5. Repeat until sick
