Here's the deal,

I don't have a cable or IR-connection to my computer, so...

If someone is willing to MMS me the new screensaver from SE (the black with the logo in the midle) to me, then I'll trade back 2 "real" ringtones that the T610 lacks. They are polyphonic and (somehow) transfered from Nokia. The tones are the ones called "Low" and "Ring Ring". They are loud and play continoiusly (meaning they don't start all over from low soundlevel after each tone has played as all other crap ringtones recommended here). As far as I know, no one else managed to get them from a Nokia into the T610 before due to lack of transfer option for those tones built that are built into Nokia polyphonic modells.

If someone is interested in trading using MMS, post me a private message.

PS! The new screensaver is mentioned and available for web-download here: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=35307&forum=2

You don't have to 'trade' your tones for the screensaver. If you just ask and somone on here would certainly give it to you!! And if someone had some nice ringtones they would post them without hesitation!

Would anyone like to share these tones called "Low" and "Ring Ring"?

Perhaps someone could host them somewhere with a link here for the benefit of all (including me!)

Cheers!

Yes, I would of course post them here! But here's the deal! I don't have a cable or IR etc. That's why I asked for someone to help me get the screensaver in the first place. I don't need to get the screensaver in order to give someone the tones! But some people who replied to my question offended me by saying I wasn't nice offering the tones for the screensaver. Get this: I don't know any other way to get my tones out of the phone than by MMS. If I did, I would have done so to let others have access to them! A friend who works at - no name mentioned - got the tones from the Nokia polyphonic-phone inside my Ericsson. I don't have the knowledge of what or how it was done, but the only way "I" know of now to get them out from my phone is using MMS.

Now, just who are those people out there who offended me? I've been here helping people since 2001 and you offend me?

Read my track-record and you'll see "who" made Telia (to mention one of many companies in Sweden) to replace their sold T68 units for T68i due to consumer-legal matters - for free! But those who offended me don't know that of course, since by that time they were to busy doing their 9th grade homework (sorry, just had to give back!).

What are the extensions of these 'real' ring tones? As in what are their file types?

They are "inside" my T610 (not my computer) so I can't see what extension they got. They are polyphonic, playing continiously (not lowering after each ring) and they are loud! The icon for the tones in the phone is a double-tune if it helps you.

Oh right. My bad. Why don't you MMS them to somebody who can post them on some site?
