> Problem with contacts memory (Phone / SIM)
Bookmark topic
Hi there,
I have a t610 customized for Vodafone Live! version R1A081, and it's unlocked. I had it also flashed with original SE firmware.
My problem is that when I use Vodafone or Amena (spanish operators) SIMS and press joystick down, I get my contacts menu (Phone Memory); but when I put a Movistar SIM card and press joystick down I get the SIM Memory.
Is this a normal behavior of the phone? Why this occur?
My usual operator is Movistar so I want to get contacts menu by pressing joystick down, cause SIM memory doesn't allow more than one number for entry.
Anybody can help? Thanks
Regards,
Cheriff

Never heard of that! I have 2 T610s and 3 sim cards (from Aus, uk and germany) and none exhibit that behaviour! I can't see any settings that could cause that either.

The same thing happens to me. Iīve been checking and with all Movistarīs SIMs the phonebook menu changes. It misteryously appears another option named call apart from call contact. When you press down in the joystick in standby mode, the phone goes to call instead of going to call contact. That option, call, is the same one that in the manual says it is in phonebook/advanced/call from SIM, which disappears from there and appears in the main phonebook menu with Movistar SiMs. Anyone can help? Anyone knows why could this be?

...anyone who solved this?
also having Movistar and just got a new second one since SE told it was a problem with the phone.
When pushing joystick down it goes to sim-card which I keep empty (have tried with having some number on the sim as well), "list is empty" comes up.
anoying to say the least.
Anyone out there who can help??

I am suspecting it is to do with movistar-sopecific settings (perhaps even encrypted on their SIMs) so I would think they are the ones who can answer you.
