I am going to buy me a new cellphone, but i dont know wich one.

SonyEricsson T610 or
Samsung SGH-V200

It would be nice with some advices ... =)
btw, my hears says SE, but the V200 is so damn nice

And one more thing, anyone knows how to unlock a phone from a Network lock? I have an t68i wich is locked to T-Mobile, UK i bought it from a friend who lived in UK for about one year, but now he moved home, i have talket to T-mobile, but they say i must have an tmobile account to unlock it. Why should i have their account when i live in Sweden? So can it be unlocked, or should i just throw it away?

Please, gimme some answers!

Greetings, Jonas

Depends what features are important to you. From what I've seen of the Samsung the camera is better than the T610. However, the T610, has Bluetooth, Java and Mophun which, as far as I'm aware the Samsung does not.

The T610 is also, in my opinion, more user friendly and nicer to look at.

Forget the V200 unless you:
Never write SMS (input sucks, canīt add words to T9 dictionary)
Only have one appointment/day (Canīt add more than one appointment/day on the V200)
Are happy with provided ringtones (Good quality but embarrassing tunes)
Donīt care about sending stuff via IRDA (I couldnīt make it work anyway)
Donīt mind charging phone every two-three days
Donīt mind text on screen looking like this:

This is how an SMS usually loo
ks on Samsung V200 due to cr
appy software

Donīt mind changing to Caps manually after finished sentence..

I could go on.. I found out within two weeks that the V200 is a "Pamela Anderson phone" Sexy and nice to play with, but the insides really found me wanting..

Indeed ThreeX has summed it up nicely. Samsung screens look impressive, but thats about as deep as it gets. Ive played aroud on them and I wouldn't recommend it to even my worst enemy.

I was being unfair before.. i realize that now.
I forgot to mention the keypad which is REALLY good
But on the other hand, even a Skoda has nice tyres.. when new..

lol @ Skoda....

I played with my cousins V200 and my ex's V205 (or vice versa I don't remember which one was which) and I mostly agree. For the price its missing lots of features that should be included and the interface is not very slick at all. The screen is pretty and the camera quite nice but other than that I do not like the phone much at all, especially for the price.

ThreeX don't knock the Skoda. I have a Skoda Octavia RS and it is the dogs you know what. Same engine as the Audi RS but nearly half the price. The UK police are using them now, as unmarked patrol cars. Remember they are owned by VW now, and this realy shows in the build quality and reliability. Anyway I agree with you that the Samsung is a pretty phone but that is about as far as it goes. Ohh and as for the T-Mobile locked T68i. Where are you in Sweden, if you are anywhere near Goteburg or Kvanum then get in touch as soon as you can as I may be able to help you.

Get the Sony Ericsson T610. I've had bad experiences with Samsung. The screens are the best but that is where it ends I'm afraid. Call quality is, for want of a better term, f***ing crap. My mate upgraded to one of the Samsungs and ended up going back to his T68. My advice is if you really want the Samsung ask to test the call quality before buying.
